What am I supposed to do when, my mom finds out that I am talking to my ex boyfriend over the internet and she has already told me not to ever talk to him again? Do I try to explain why I am talking to him or do I just except the fact that my mom hates me and believes that I have chosen my ex boyfriend over her, but I'm not so can someone please help me.....

my best friend was going through this a little while ago. its really hard to deal with, because you care about someone, and everyone is pushing you guys apart.
im going to tell you the same thing i told her.
everything else doesnt matter. what matters is whats in your heart, do you care about him? whether its 'just friends' or something more. if you want to talk to him you have every right to. your mother wont hate you. its him she hates. but if you care about him, she'll eventually see that, and accept it. its a hard place, between people you care about. but she loves you. your her daughter, she will eventually accept it, she may not accept him, but she will accept your decision.
my advice to you....keep talking to him, its obvious you still care about him, otherwise you wouldnt be risking your mom getting made at you. so dont let him go. follow your heart, it will lead the way. as cliche as it may sound. it always works. you might even want to see if you can sneak in a phone call, or hang with mutual friends. and see him.
if your really worried about your mom, be honest with her. better her find out by you telling her flat out. than her finding out herself, and that you kept it from her. better to be honest, than lie, and get in serious trouble. tell her how you feel about him, and she should appreciate the honesty. who knows she might surprise you, she was young once.

Don't waste your time trying to explain. If she told you not to talk to him she won't care why. You mom doesn't hate you she hates your ex. He is your ex for a reason, right?

Well, it depends on how good of a listener your mom is. If she can accept what you want, tell her how you feel about her butting into your privacy. I'm sure you're not "choosing" between anyone. Tell her that you love her and you're not doing such a thing as "choosing" between the both of them.

This isn't an either or thing. You have gone against your parents. There is no explanation or reason why you had to disobey your parents, other than you wanted to. Your mom does not hate you, she is protecting you. You should listen.

there must be a good reason that your mother doesn't want you to talk to him. She must feel that he is not good for you in some way. Really think about what your mother is trying to protact you from and then decide if it is worth going behide her back to talk to him

Tell you respect her opinion but you are your own person and explain why you are talking to him but make sure its a good reason though

i dont think she hates you...shes trying to protect you...its her job so why dont you give her a break and not talk to him for awhile till things settle down between you and your mom..if the guy really likes you he will understand and wait for you
