My right wrist and hand hurts every time i hit the heavy bag, and when I do any other physical activity. I really want to start hitting the bag again, what should i do to help it feel better, and whats a good excersize to do that won't hurt my hand and wrist.

Boxing's different than most other sports when it comes to pain, The old saying "No pain, No gain" does not apply to your hands. Your hands have to be healthy in order to train properly and to fight. Ali use to have Ferddie Pacheco shoot his hands up with cortisone before he trained and fought.

Go to the doctor and have him take a x-ray of your hand and wrist, and check and see if you have a fracture, it might be a hairline, you never know. If everything checks out okay there take a break for a while until the tenderness goes away.

You might want to change up the way you wrap your hands. Use athletic tape with your cotton wraps.

Man I feel you. I recently had a motorcycle accident; therefore I can’t lift as much weight in the gym because I bruised my shoulder muscle. I just lift lightweight so I won’t aggravate my injury. I think you should do the same because if you don’t then your injury might persist for even longer than expected

I would recommend Rest as the best medicine, let your body heal completely or your injury might become permanent.

Other than that go see a Chiropractor or acupuncturists, they can help.
