theres no free will, theres no sadness, and no sin. your going to be forced to worship the being who killed millions, let millions of others starve, given us diseases and pain and suffering, and sent family and loved ones to hell to be tortured for eternity.
how is this any better then hell? why do i keep seeing questions about "why do non-believers want to risk going to hell..." (pascals wager), when either way its a lose lose situation.

Well said Chippy. I don't think it is so great to be forced to worship something for eternity so that something can think he's wonderful.

I am a Christian, but I do not spend all my time thinking about Heaven. Honestly, I don't. There is such a thing as being so Heavenly minded that you're no Earthly good. I enjoy being a Christian. I live a peaceful and happy life. But I live in the real world. God didn't do all those bad things. Granted, He did not step in and stop them, but He did not cause them.
Why bother trying to talk everyone into thinking Heaven won't be grand? Just enjoy YOUR life, and if that doesn't include Heaven, that's your choice. If you're happy with it, then so be it.

It is our free will that caused these things, not God. Anyone, anywhere in history and present has the option to do good and love. We send ourselves to hell if we chose to. Imagine if there were no free will. We'd be nothing but robots. By doing good and living right, we can feel the satisfaction and peace. Nobody forces me to worship anyone. It is my decision and mine alone. So if I chose to believe in God and in heaven, I will consider worshipping God as honor. God has worked in my life more times than I can remember, and it boggles my mind to think that not everybody agrees with that. But I accept that. As for me, I could never depend on my own strength, my own understanding to have carried me through what I've been through.

You wont be forced to worship, all in heaven will want to praise and worship God. It better then hell because In hell you will constantly burn. The choice is totally yours. No one is making you go to heaven it is free will. So if you feel that way by all means go where you wish. I pray you make the right choice.

Heaven is a place human made up to "ease" the thought of dying. And if there was such a thing as hell...i would say we are living in it now. As you said million are dying, starving, being tortured, suffering ect. Wouldnt you say thats hell? And if we are not living in hell already and we die why would god want to send you to hell?Havent we suffered enough living? now who said god was forgiving and kind?

I think heaven is going to be absolutely fantastic. Sometimes in life we mortals experience a bit of "true happiness." This is a minute taste of the exquisite joy that all will experience in the Kingdom of God after this life. True happiness exists only when our wills are in tune with eternal truths. Men are that they might have joy. Our Father has a fulness of joy. The kind of life that God, our Eternal Father, lives is called eternal life. He has offered eternal life to all of us. Basically, he has offered us to experience the same perfect joy that He, the God of the Universe, experiences. He wants us to live the kind of life that He lives. We can become one with Him in purpose, will, and nature. We can sit on the throne of Jesus Christ with Him, even as He sat in the throne of the Father.

Chippi! according to the Bible, no man can imagine how Grand Heaven is. Now if you have faith in God and believe in the Bible, then maybe heaven is for you; but no one is forcing you to believe in anything. Go read Holy Blood, Holy Grail and leave believers alone.

free will doesn't go away (supposedly). You are not forced into anything because you only get there if you already believe. Plus, I am pretty sure you get to pick out any cloud you want (as long as its not already taken).
