why did I grow up under the teachings to reject Jesus as our Messiah and that our politics support liberals who reject the bible and intelligent design. Moses taught about God designing the universe-why not believe him?
do u think life is an accident-no real purpose-today you may say the purpose of life is one thing and tomorrow another, without a relationship the the designer-we are just objects fitted to destruction.
As born Jewish I searched the Jewish Scriptures found prophecies and came to believe Jesus is our Messiah, but the next step was to believe what He said and let Him into my heart to be my best friend and good shepherd, my Messiah and savior.
He spoke from heaven and said -I knock on your heart, repent from your sins, I love you as you are, let me in and I will be there to help you, as your friend. Revelation 3:19&20
so i prayed "I am sorry for my sins, come into my heart and help me and be my friend, amen. "
why do u reject or accept intelligentDesign

I accept intelligent design, because it's intelligent. It's only natural to assume that if there is creation, there has to be something that made it.

clearly with your fragile grasp on what is real an "intelligent" argument won't get through to you, but here it is anyway:
What proof do you have for intelligent design? Must i search for a tree-maker or a rabbit-maker? What about a sky-maker? Science and Physics tell me these things developed naturally because gas, rock and elemetns were close enough to the sun and began compacting. Things are a process. One follows another, which followed antoehr. Trace it all back. And there's nothing intelligent about it, no one's forcing it's hand, it does what is most natural, obeying the laws of physics that govern the universe.
Steven Hawking says the universe began with a big bang, why not believe him? He actually backed up his theories, unlike Moses. And if you start with that whole "what started that, what created that" etc. then you're missing the point. You are blind and you think if all you do is go backwards you'll find God, well you won't. We are not intellgient designs, we are a bioligcal organism that has adapted to our environment at this time and place, and there's plenty doing it better than us, and some doing it worse.

I know it's you again, David. You keep changing your screen name and thinking that we are all too dumb to see what's going on. This is not a question; it's just a rant. You are a coward! Be a Jew or be a Christian; you can't be both!
And, please tell me what is so intelligent about the design of the universe? What is so intelligent, for example, about the human body? We have, for instance, one opening for eating food and breathing air. Sometimes food "goes down the wrong pipe" as my Grandmother used to call it. What is so intelligent about that? We have a tailbone (coccyx)...why? What's so intelligent about that? We have an appendix that doesn't need to be there; we haven't needed to use it since primitive times. What's so intelligent about that? I could go on, but you see my point...
If you look back at his other "questions", you can see what a disturbed person this is...

Why do some reject the idea that God may have used evolution as his instrument for design, and insist that we ignore the physical evidence we can see in the fossil record and living organisms?
Why do they insist that "Intelligent Design" actually answers anything? A 'theory' with no theory behind it, no scientific predictions to evaluate, no testable hypotheses, and no real theological underpinnings as well.
What does whether or not our distant ancestors were chimpanzee-like apes, or we were squished together from ashes and dirt have to do with Jesus' message of salvation??
Why do so-called Christians hurt the message of their faith by insisting on attacking science, instead of focussing on the actual message of Christ's teachings??

Intelligent designs need intelligent designers? Like how the incredibly complex and intelligent designer needed a designer? Oh, wait, no it couldn't have had a designer...
The mere existence of a designer would prove that one is not necessary. As this designer would have come into existence without the intervention of a creator or designer of some kind, it shows that even very complex things like an intelligent designer do not need to be designed. So, why would anything else?

Why do you believe in a designer who designed the Bubonic Plague, the Black Death, the Spanish Influenza? Why do you believe in a designer who designed parasites which burrow through the soles of feet (normally of young children whose soles are softer) and migrate to the eyes where they cause blindness? Why do you believe in a designer who designed a geologically active Earth and is therefore responsible for (and may individually cause) earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis?
If you want to worship this insane mass murderer, be my guest.

good question. of direction a transcendental or supernatural god needs no such organic rationalization . even however clever layout being a valid scientific concept does could clarify the layout of the dressmaker. yet having mentioned that perchance the respond is in basic terms too irreducibly complicated to comprehend.

Why is it so hard to consider the possibility that God created the Universe, which began with a Big Bang, and has governing laws put in place by God?

Basically because there is no proof for intelligent design, as there is not proof for Moses, the Exodus, flood or any other significant event in the Bible.

Because the designer could be any God, it doesnt have to be Jesus. there are thousands of Gods and Goddesses, and saying they are false doesnt change the fact that others acknowledge and worship them.

If that's what you believe, then good for you. Personally, I prefer to find evidence of something before dedicating my life to it, but enjoy your mythology...
As for why I reject ID: there is no evidence to support it. ID is a wild guess for which people try to find evidence; hardly a logical way to proceed. There is just as much evidence of pink unicorns as there is of your God.
