Break-ups are hard. And you two are still in eachother's life due to sharing a child. That would make it even more difficult. What I'd do, is really try to focus on me and my kid. Do things with your friends. Don't date if you aren't ready, just stay busy. Try to stay mentally and emotionally healthy by doing things for your child and you. You'll meet people this way, will start to focus less on him, and who knows, maybe meet someone in the meantime.

Don't purposely do things like go to clubs, etc to meet people and to flirt. Because you'll be going out with the intention of meeting guys, all you'll think about is the ex. Do things that you like to do! Do you have any hobbies or interests? Even if it is just shopping or going to the gym. Does your kid have a play group? Stuff like that. Spend time with family and friends, work on you...and you'll stop thinking of him (at least gradually).

Have faith, but stop trying to move on. Just try to focus on your child and you.

You're not lost in life at all. You are just still attached to him. Time works these problems out faster for some than others. You feel empty because a part of you is missing. What you should do is find something that you like to do that will keep him off of your mind. Spend more time with your child, work overtime, invite friends/family over for dinner or something. Once you get over him, that void will no longer exist. Oh, and another thing, eventually, time will heal your hurting.

I'm sorry that you're feeling this way...I can understand where you're coming from. At first when I broke up with my ex boyfriend of 5 years, every time I went out I felt like I was cheating on him, but he was going out with other girls way before I can even think of going out with other people. Sooo....

Don't worry about what he is doing...don't get involved in his personal life becuase you're only going to hurt youreself. Just concentrate on you're feelings right now and do something that will motivate you. You just need time. Don't rush into anything right now because it won't work out...

Have some time for you now...you and you're child. Time heals all wounds. =)

Good luck

Its going to take some time to get over him, after all he is the father of your first born, its only natural for you to feel this way. I'd suggest working out and keep yourself busy. Don't try to get into a relationship just because your ex met someone. Concentrate on living life and your kid and you will be fine. Eventually when your ready you can start dating again.

it is always a stressfull time when a relationship ends.i think the most important thing is to keep your child as the top prioritey. there is a time of grieving, but you have to move along with your life. your ex seems to have done so. don,t waste your life trying to fix something that can,t be fixed.someone will come alongand life will go on. good luck live life!
