If you're religious, go to church/synagogue
Meet your friends' friends (this is how many people meet, about 35%)
Join a group, or class. Work in a soup kitchen or literacy centre or whatnot.
If none of these work, at least you can say that you helped people and met some new people
Note: If you want a LTR, don't go to a bar or club. Those are just for hookups
