Safe life style change, over the long-run. Make moderate cuts in calorie intake (mainly by changing both the composition of what you eat and cutting down on quantities but keeping nutrition at a safe, health preserving, level) plus increasing exercises — a couple of 15-20 minute exercise sessions a day, plus standing, stretching, walkiing, and avoiding couch potatoing whenever you can make a choice to be up and about rather than sitting.
Over time, this will work (I've been following a routine like this for almost 10 years and am close to 100 pounds less than I was when I had a severe heart attack).
If you are responding to a short-term weight-loss challenge, I don't think that you are giving yourself a chance for safe, long-term, gradual weight loss.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Eat right and exercise. I do 45 minutes of cardio and then lift weights. I also do 20 minutes of Pilates three times a week. Drink lots of water

skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
dont eat until your're full
eat fruits at night if your hungry.
drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

The old tried and true. Take in fewer calories than you burn but do it sensibly (lots of veggies, fresh fruits, whole grains, etc.). No magic answers here, just a well balanced diet, exercise, and patience. You should lose no more than 2 pounds a week, otherwise you can put your body at risk.
