You are seeking to limit God's power by either answer and therefore prove He is less than all powerful , surely one of God's attributes.
If God is , (ie exists) then He must have all the perfections associated with an all powerful diety . The only alternative is that their is no such deity existing . I do not know how to answer the question from a perspective of belief except to say that with God all things are possible . How this might be achieved I have absolutely no idea.

God's Omnipotence means power to do all that is intrinsically possible, not to do the intrinsically impossible. You may attribute miracles to Him, but not nonsense. This is no limit to His power. If you choose to say 'God can give a creature free will and at the same time withhold free will from it,' you have not succeeded in saying anything about God: meaningless combinations of words do not suddenly acquire meaning simply because we prefix to them the two other words 'God can.'... It is no more possible for God than for the weakest of His creatures to carry out both of two mutually exclusive alternatives; not because His power meets an obstacle, but because nonsense remains nonsense even when we talk it about God.

This is a typical question people ask trying to prove that God is not almighty, but ut is as stupid as to ask, what came first, an egg or the chicken. I believe that GOD is almighty and he can create and do anything. forget about the laws of physics in spiritual world.
