Why doesn't the governments of the world get together and buy land were endangered animals species live?

Glen Beck said it last night on his show - it's ok for animals to go instinct because people need to take over their habitat.

That's the kind of greed that runs this world. Unfortunately men like him are too STUPID to understand that we'll take ourselves down too.

Who would administer these lands?
Who would govern them (because people WILL break laws)? Who would decide what laws to enforce and how to enforce them?
What if a government reconverts protected land and uses it from human purposes? What repercussions would they face and from whom?

What you are proposing is very wild. You canot assume every government is going to make endangered species rehabitation a top priority in policies and finances. Does it not interefere with the basic principle of national sovereignty if a world-entity is governing these lands? Shouldn't the people of individual nations have a say in how and what animals are protected?
What about endangered plants and fungi?

The land that you are talking about is under control of a government that states it is just fine on it`s own and can protect it`s own land.

I've wondered that myself..then I heard that some of the preserves in Africa are not patrolled well enough to prevent poachers and that many of the people that are supposed to prevent this are well paid to allow it to happen. people are too easily corrupted to make that plan viable...the money would be better spent making it less profitable to kill them or take the land they inhabit

i admire animals lots! i desire to declare i might die yet i don't comprehend if i ought to. If i did no longer pick to die i might experience so undesirable for something of my existence because of fact I killed an animal species!
