How 'old' is this 'younger teenager'? How tall is s/he? How much does s/he weigh? ALL of these things must be 'taken into account when you are 'calculating' how many 'calories' a person should take in each day. And even then, people 'differ' and you must be extremely careful to be aware of that child, and that child's MENTAL state as well his his/her physical state. A 'younger teenager' needs to be starting to make his/her own 'decisions' and not simply 'handed a plate' and told to 'eat everything on it' ... let the child 'participate fully' in it's diet, and it will be 'healthier' than one who is just 'handed food and expected to eat it' ...

it extremely is waaaay too FEW energy. a man or woman 3 feet tall might desire a minimum of 1200 energy. you probable want around 2500. you're tall and youthful (meaning starting to be) you like greater energy than that. the load you have lost is probable quite a few water and muscle. the greater muscle you lose the fewer energy you burn of course. muscle is healthful and you like it. my suggestion to you would be to forget approximately counting energy all collectively and in basic terms consume fit (have confidence me, you like all those energy). additionally, in basic terms play a recreation or dance and probably perform a little bodyweight stuff like pushups, lunges, leaping jacks, etc.. you like waaaay greater energy. in case you dont consume greater you will screw up your metabolism at this youthful age after which once you're a grown up you may have an extremely no longer undemanding time conserving weight off.

2000 calories will be enough you can eat up to 2500 depending on your physical activity and body type it is hard to say a standardized amount cause it depends on body and person . But 2000-2500 is a good interval

2000 calories seems to be the standard.

Eat a little more if you're pretty active.
and accordingly, eat less if you don't move all that much.
