We have a male cat that was neutered in September 2005. He loves to attack her, but it seems like he is wrapping his arms around her, trying to possibly mate. He definitely stresses her out on a daily basis (we are giving him to a friend on Sunday to have).

Her stomach is a hard and he back nipples seem to droop down. She is EXTREMELY affectionate, almost like she is going through heat.

She is an indoor cat and has never gone outside.

I've heard of a "False pregnancy" but I don't know much about it.

If your cat was spayed in May of 2006 the kittens would have been born about 2 months after wards, and with her spayed and him being neutered, she cannot be pregnant. She may have gained some weight, that tends to make their breast droop.

This is unusual behavior for a neutered male too, although they he may actually be trying to get her to play.

I commend you on giving the male kitty to a good home. Sounds like your female will have a more pleasant life.

Take care, enjoy your kitty.

I would be willing to say without a doubt that she is not pregnant. Cats much like people go through hormonal issues after being spayed. If her abdomen is hard or larger than you think it should be I would recommend taking her to see the Vet. I think you made the right decision about giving the male cat away, it sounds like she has been through a great deal of stress. I wouldnt be to concerned as long as there is no tendernous,or you dont feel lumps or anything abnormal on her abdomen. Hope this helps!

If she was spayed after she had already had a chance to come into head, then it's possible she is experiencing false pregnancy. They can look / feel and act just like they are actually pregnant.

it is very unlikely that she is pregnant but i would take her to the vet and have her checked out becuase its common for cats to get masses in there stomachs that will make them hard and there niples sag as if there where milk in them and if the mass gets to big and starts moving it could break skin and cause alot of damage on the inside and out.
