go to lowe's.com and use their free paint a room software. I used it to plan the colors for my whole house. Was able to compare colors side by side to make sure the rooms would flow into each other. It's great.

If I was doing beige and brown furnishings I would have some fun with the walls. Try a green tone on the walls, not pale green, but more a sage color. To tie your wall color in with the furniture bring in some pillows for the furniture in a print that matches the wall color. The great thing about going with neutrals on the furniture is you can have fun with the rest of the room.

It would be hard to say not knowing how your room looks, or what kind of light it gets. When we painted our familyroom (a bright mustard color) we got samples of a few colors we thought we might like and painted 3 ft squares of it on the walls. We let it sit for a week, so we could see them in different times of the day. The Mustard color, which we thought we wouldn't like at first, won hands down because it brightenned the room in all lighting situations. A year later, we still love it.

Your room will look hideous for about a week, but its worth it.

Good luck.

there is not any longer some thing incorrect with portray the the front room and kitchen an similar shade. i'd not use any vibrant tones notwithstanding. per chance you should paint the kitchen a lighter tone of an similar shade that you paint the the front room. As for the lavatory off of the kitchen. pass with a warmth ordinary eco-friendly. it will make the ambience of the room extra relaxing.

A pale creamy yellow would do nicely with the brown and beige.

Or how about sage colored walls.
