Ok so me and boyfriend were together for 5 months. In the beginning of the relationship he said how I was innocent because he was my first kiss. We stayed together and everything was ok except the first month. All of a sudden he started acting wierd and I broke up with him yesterday because he said he looks at me as more of a best friend or a sister. When I broke up with him he seem like he was trying every way possible to keep us together and we decided to not have a title (like not bf or gf but not just friends), but I dont want him to have his cake and eat it too. He is still calling me and saying I love you like everything is ok. What should I do?

well, girl... it's hard to tell. You are not acting like a couple, you're acting like two different individuals trying to get a fair share. When you're ready for a real relationship, you'll look out for the happiness of the other. And I don't mean just yourself, him too. This "I love you" doesn't mean the same thing for everybody. Sometimes it's just an excuse to postpone a breakup in hopes that it will work out, where in fact it will make things worst in the long run... But for all it's worth, I don't know what kind of weird acting you're talking about, it just might be that you're at the beginning of the 'adjustment' period , and that may/may not be part of it. So unless he's looking for a seasonal back and call girl, you might have just little adjustments to do, and getting to know what works in your little universe. At any rate don't be very generous saying that magic phrase, "I LOVE YOU" unless you know what that means, and are ready to commit. Otherwise it's just infatuation, and hormonal response to eye or physical stimuli... And that's the way the cookie crumbles, hahahaha!

tell him it's all or nothing. he can go out with you and love you and look after you and care for you or he can just be your friend and there's no in between. and stop returning his calls or texting him back or whatever cuz that'll make him really think about how much you mean to him.
