The most unlikely place for me would be when I'm shopping at the grocers' just after a class 'cos teaching slow kids can beat the hell out of you, and you'll still have to be patient and calm. I love teaching and I love kids, but I'm a mess after most of the classes. So, meeting someone hot at the boutique then would be extremely accidental and that would certainly catch me off guard.

What is strange to one might not be to another, so hard to answer. I met my husband on a German cruise that wasn't intended for romantic purposes, I just wanted to get away after my parents died. I met a Dutch man; he couldn't speak English and I couldn't speak Dutch. We dated 4 years, and have been married for 10. Unusual for me because I would never have went to Europe, except I was overwhelmed with my parent's death and answered yes when a friend invited me over. The rest is history.

True story - it was my first year in college. I had just broken up for good with my long time boyfriend and was dating a lot, but not finding anyone I wanted to stick with. I said that night, that's it, I'm not dating any more, I'll just go out with the group until I graduate. One of my roommates and I were getting ready for our party. I went out on the balcony to open a bottle of champagne. I couldn't get it open and was yelling at her to get me something to open it. This guy was in another complex and yelled up to me that he'd open it for me. I said, jokingly, if you bring some more drinks, I'll come let you in. When I went down to let him and his friend in, I instantly fell in love. We spent the night together and have every one since. That was 12 years ago and we will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in June! Love at first sight.
