I've seen commercials for this new listerine mouthwash that stains the plaque on your teeth blue, so that you can see where the plaque is. The commercial seems to be aimed at kids' dental health. Has anyone tried it yet?

I remember taking that tablet in school once too, and the commercial made me think of the same thing. :)

I'm 16 and I use it. It works great. I love it because it tells me where to give extra attention. It's quite cool and fun.

I haven't yet but I plan to, for my kids (ages 5 & 7) It seems like it would make teeth brushing interesting...for adults, too!

I remember in elementary school they would come by about once a year to do a dental screening and they would always give us these purple tablets that did the same thing...stained our teeth where plaque was. Those things tasted so good...

Yeah, it's actually pretty cool. It comes in two flavors. My children prefer the the mint. I tried it on myself and it works pretty well. Not as strong as the regular Listerine b/c it truly is for children. It keeps them from rushing and they actually brush their teeth longer. Especially my 7 year old, bound and determined to get rid of the stains.
