His father is Scottish, and from a long line of scottish descent.
His mother is english born to an english mother but a scottish father. But my husband was born in England, he came to Scotland when he was 7, he says scottish. I think english.
WHAT do think? Yes I do know he is British.

He is 1/2 Scottish from his father's side.

His mother is 1/2 English, 1/2 Scottish, which makes him 1/4 English, and 1/4 Scottish from his mother's side.

Therefore, he is 3/4 Scottish and 1/4 English (Brittish). He was born in England and moved to Scotland later on.

He is English if that's where he was born but he can boast he has much more Scottish blood in him and of his ancestors.

My mother is Austrian and my father is Welsh, I was born in Wales and I consider myself to be Welsh. Happy St Davids day.
