When you switched to organic did you change a few foods at a time or change all your choices at the same time?

How much better do you feel and how dramatic is the difference in taste and nutrition??

If people asked you to recommend ONE food or drink that they should choose organic what would you tell them? Why?

I was forced to go organic due to crippling allergies (misdiagnosed as lupus, fibromyalgia, arthritis) Yes, the cost can be a bit overwhelming, but the benefits are astounding. Not only does it taste better, but the thought of all those pesticides is a bit too much to think about. I had a blood test done, and over 130 pesticide residues were in my system! For me, healing after suffering years of crippling pain were enough to keep me motivated. I started selling unwanted household items on ebay to keep the funds up enough to cover the cost. I drink organic raw milk (from a food co op) and only organic veggies (I am vegetarian) and fruits. They are hard to come by in my area, and while I know very little about gardening, I did manage a successful container (4 foot by 4 foot, raised bed) garden last season, and am ready to plant again this spring. I am growing gourmet fingerling potatoes in a wheelbarrow, inverted tomato plants (in a 2 liter soda bottle) and many varieties of peas, pimentos and peppers. I have quite a few varieties of cucumbers as well. Try to get organic whenever you can. Our food supply is scary! Whole foods means simply food in its natural form-not processed or altered. Also look out for genetically modified foods-google it-very scary stuff

I have tried only a handful of organic foods. when I tried chicken that was all natural without harmones , I noticed a great change in taste. My great grandmother used to say that chicken out the henhouse tasted much better that store bought meat. Now I know why, its the additives they put in it.
