Racing thoughts? You can't stay on one idea your jumping around, can't stay focused stuff like that. It could be hormonal. It could be something else. I was mis-diagnosed with bi-polar and I had racing thoughts which is a symptom. But later I found out I had Poly cistic ovarian syndrom which had all my hormones out of whack and thats why I was experiencing symptoms like that. Ask your doctor about it, I'm sure they can do some blood work to see if thats going on.

Depends on what other symptoms if any you might be experiencing as well...do you find yourself talking quickly or excitedly? Do others find you being a 'motor mouth'? Are you getting urges to spend money on almost anything just because? Mood swings...high one day, low the next or doing things in excess and being unable to sleep?
You could be experiencing symptoms of bipolar illness which is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. Seeing a doctor specifically for the symptom you are experiencing (racing thoughts or thoughts that won't turn off and are affecting your sleep or making you jump from one activity to another etc) will uncover whether or not you are basically dealing with a hormonal problem or have the onset of Bipolar.
Good luck

It's not uncommon at all - it's why millions of people meditate. My mind has slowed down substantially since I took up meditation, although it was frustrating at first. You ought to learn how and see if it helps you.

You are not getting the required amount of sleep which your body needs.ensure that you have sufficient and quality sleep,i mean undisturbed sleep.there is no medical problem with you as you feel only sometimes and not always dizzy.

Honey, those are called racing thoughts. They come with anxiety, you could be lacking sleep, or depressed.

Stress, anxiety, depression. Any and all of the above.
Seek the advice of your physician when in doubt.
