what people fail to understand is that it does not matter how much sit ups you do, without cardio and strict diet, u will never get a six pack ab. change your diet, high protein, low carb, and exercise---cardiovascular and then do ab workouts two to three times a week for 15-20mins.

The skin can only be fixed by surgery but the muscles can be strengthened by good old fashioned sit ups and lot's of them. Also I have found a low carb/high protein diet really gets rid of belly fat.

If you have extra skin (i.e. look for stretch marks)..that's pretty much permanent and the only way to get rid of it is surgery. You can try rubbing vitamin e on the stretch marks to help them go away and make the skin more elastic and/or workout and diet a little to help things out. but again if your skin is extra...and stretched from your pregnancy..sadly that's permanent.

It's sad that you'd want to. My lovely wife has the most delicious little pot belly. I love to put my head on it when I've had a bad day, or a great one for that matter. It's one of my favorite parts of her body. I'd lament its loss if it went away.
