Outlook has asian fonts?

I opened up outlook calender, and it displays an asian symbol next to the date. on the right side of the block for th eday in the calender, it has something like thursday march 1. on the left side, it shows (asian letter)then a number like 13. and htey count up everyday. how do i get rid of this?

Go to Tools > Options > Calendar Options and make sure you do not have an Alternate Calendar enabled.
