Ever since xmas, he has been calling and calling and she screens her calls and wont call him back, we have had his mom call her, his sister in law wh gets along with her and used to keep in touch with her call, and she wont call anyone back. You don't have to get a lawyer. Go to your local child custody office (probably located in the department of jobs and family services, you can google it) and they'll help you to work it out. Of course it would mean him paying child support, but once they set up the child support they'll set up court ordered visitation at the same time at no cost to you, a mediator helps you to work it out. Good luck!

You can't set up visitation without a court, but you can go to the department of human services and tell them that he wants to see his son and maybe they can give you some help. See if you qualify for free legal help. Do everything you can and no matter how many doors get slammed in your face keep trying to see the boy, where there is a will there is a way. good luck and tell your boyfriend congrats on cleaning up his act becasue later in life his son will need him and he needs to be clean when that time comes.

Petition the courts for visitation. If there is a court order in place allowing him so see his son there is no way she can deny him that right. Well she can, but she will face charges.

If she isn't communicating with him, you have no option but the courts. He'll probably have to take a paternity test, but then he'll have rights of his own and a relationship with his son.
