Personally i don't see this as weird. What i consider weird is that you seem to reacting to so strongly. If the three of you don't have a problem why should it matter what others think??

NO, DEFINITELY NOT. YOU AND YOUR ROOM MATE ARE JUST FRIENDS, PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCEPT THAT. IF YOUR GIRLFRIEND ACCEPTS IT AND IT DOES NOT CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS THAN WHY NOT HAVE HER AS A ROOM MATE TO HELP PAY THE BILLS AND MAKE IT EASIER ON THE BOTH OF YOU!
