I don't get irritated that easily.

I prefer lol, to having to type out laughing out loud... I hate typing and I am horrible at it.

It is the normal course of action to start trends, perpetuate them and then eventually negate them and then abandon them all together... It is all older than dirt. and it will start up and over with something new eventually.

When writing something valuable or worth reading... I would never use a shortcut. It is for here and matches the intelligence of this and other on line forums so...

I really love ROFLMAO... That is my favorite.

I find it irritating full stop, I don't need to know if someone is laughing out loud. Next they'll be telling me when they're scratching their ****!

No...I find it more irritating when they say things like "ya" "cuz" and "dat". I hate people that butcher the English language. It's so juvenile.

Oh yes! i get annoyed at all these liberties people take with the English language, and how lazy we are becoming in its use......

"innit" how much of a time saver is THAT of "isnt it"
and my favourite......"free" instead of "three"

It is annoying and overused. It's like if someone can't think of anything better to say, they use "Lol."

It is an american "handicap" to abbreviate everything, in this case is quite useful I wouldn't write the same long phrase evrytime!

I think it is VERY overused, especially here on Yahoo Answers...that's what annoys me about it.
