Actually the boogers, or mucus, coat the inside of the nasal passages when the membrane is either dried out or inflammed. When it is clear, it usually is an indicator that the passages are irritated due to allergies. When the mucus is a yellowish or greenish color, that is an indication of infection either due to sinus infection (sinusitis or rhinitis) or a cold or flu.

Boogers are the result of your own body cleaning itself. In this case, the action of cilia moving foreign matter out of your lungs.

It's amazing how it works. Evolutionists are at a complete loss to explain it without launching into contrivances and pure fantasy.

"boogers" is actually the mucus in your nose that entraps all the microscopic bacteria and other particles that get trapped by your nose hairs. This mixture of germs is then trapped inside mucus and usually ejected from the nose in form of "boogers."

So they do something, everything in our body has a purpose.

Yes they do. The mucus in your nose catches viruses and bacteria, and other "invaders" that could make you sick if they made it past your "booger barrier."

Be thankful for them.

Yes they do ... while it is still liquid it traps the debris and dust you breathe in, then solidifies and falls out (unless blown or picked lol), thereby ridding you of potential bacteria that might harm the sensitive layers of your nostrils.
