Don't they see the important word in there....ILLEGAL. Why not defend illegal rapists, and illegal thiefs and illegal killers. Illegal immigrants are nothing but parasites that drain our tax money and the services it provides without putting a dime back in to replenish it. If an American citizen doesnt pay tax he goes to jail, but if an illegal immigrant doesnt pay tax people defend him....ridiculous. I have no problem w/ immigrants since the large majority of the US population is immigrant in 1 form or another, whether its Latino or European or whatever. But they are ILLEGAL and do not belong here. How and why can people defend them....this blows my mind?

It is obvious that there are people on this board who truly don't understand the future problems ahead due to "open borders", the war and so on.
I have my own business, but I don't employ illegal workers. I'd rather have a hard working american citizen make a fair wage and support his/her family than pay someone who broke the law and continues to break the law everyday they are here in order to fatten my pockets. And to answer someones post illegals do get SS benefits. If you steal someones social, that means your paying into the system and therefore you will reap those benefits. Bush has a bill to offer illegals SS benefits after 18 months of being here. But the american citizen still has to wait 10 years. And the taxes (if paid) are optional. They have a number use to report, but its optional.
We need to face the fact that politicians are going to give illegal workers/people amnesty. I assure you the guest worker program will not work. But it will back fire on the corporations and politicians. Once they grant citizenship to those that are here illegally, those same people will in turn demand rights and better wages. I say corps. because with them its all about making a profit, and the politicians its about that extra 12-20 million votes. At this time illegals can't vote on the federal level, but they can at the state level. So you have to wonder why the Dems are pushing to get the immigration problem solved quickly. Votes for the upcoming election.
It doesn't matter that our schools, hospitals, state funds are being used by people who have no right to those benefits. We are headed to a third world country status. Miami is already there to a degree.
I'm thinking about my childrens future and my grandchildrens future. Will there even be enough resources for them. Has anyone ever thought that an additional 12-20 million can put a strain on the oil and gas industry. And that could be a reason for such high levels of gasoline consumption.
I have a heart for people, but this is a problem that will not be solved with a fence, comprehensive immigration, or any other bills they create. The laws that are in place needs to be enforced against anyone that enters this country illegally.
Sadly, the only people benefiting from this illegal invasion are the politicians,corporations,employers, home country (sent over $20 billion dollars back to their countries last year), financial sector (banking/wiring companies), and of course the worker.
Why have laws if we aren't going to enforce them? And thats with any crime. America wake up, because its almost too late.

it blows my mind to not only do people defend them the government bows down to them i mean good god where will it end? illegals are even getting social security benefits now and dont even pay a dime into it! im on the verge of saying screw this and start doing things illegals do like steal identitys, drive without a license or insurance, make up my own language and demand everyone cater to my language, not pay taxes, demand free medical, foodstamps, welfare, and housing because i declare myself an illegal and dont speak english
lol pamela yeah i sat at h&r block and watched them do taxes and each one claimed atleast 7 kids and were calling other people on the cell phone to see who is claiming which kid and claiming alot of kids in mexico and the kids arent even theirs!! ya id love to pay taxes that way too! id be getting back atleast 13k
as for the illegals commiting crimes just last week 2 illegals were caught with a few hundred thousand worth of drugs in knoxville tn i think cant remember i just know it was near there cuz it was on the local news DID THEY GET JAILED? NOPE! DID THEY GET DEPORTED? NOPE! AND WHAT ABOUT THE 2 MILITARY GUYS THAT SHOT A MEXICAN DRUG LORD THAT CROSSED THE BORDER? Why do people defend illegal immigrants?
They defend their own packet, illegal immigrant pay tax just like any one else, but they not allow to have a unemployment benefits, they not allow to have a retirement plan, medical car unless is an emergency. School ask your nearest college how mach they charge for unit for a people with no paper it may shock you. I do not know where do you live but go to the nearest Field and see how the workers look like, be farther ask them how much they earn for a day, and you can tell me how many American citizen are there. Now why dot tray to work for one day, just for one day, after that you have my respect and my indivisible attention.
