Well, Lethal Weapon was modernized, and had several blockbuster sequels, but didn't you get the references?

Dont know, but I think you would have to go with lucas or speilburg to get the hell-like efect that dante was refering to. Read the book a few times and loved it. I would love even more to see the movie instead of some gay *** movie about art and thousand year old conspiricy theories and tom hanks.
