Iate last night, i purchased a small pack of chicken breasts from the market at like 7:45. It was already still cold. Well, something came up and i was unable to refrige it for a few hours, but i did have 2 very big ice packs, which kept it very cool. After a few hours I was able to refrigerate it. There was never a moment when the chicken was warm. It was like sandwiched between 2 ice packs. Do you think that it is ok to eat?

Yes it will be fine. As chicken isn't served rare but is cooked all the way through the heat will be enough to destroy any bacteria that may have had the chance to develop.

Yes it's ok. Now if you had left it overnight on the counter, it would be a different story; if that was the case, then you would need to get rid of it because it wouldn't be safe to consume.
