This is the truth. My son's dog Cadence, a Rott, woke my daughter-in-law in the middle of the night because the laundry room was in blazes. They have 3 children. When my son gathered his family and went out the front door, Cadence got frightened and went back inside. I'm asuming it was because of the firetrucks and noise. They wouldn't let my son go back in for her. So the family was all huddled together crying over their home and pet when she came around from the back of the house to them. She had ran through the kitchen and through the 'doggie door' to the backyard and jumped the fence. When the news crew arrived, they took her picture and she smiled. Check out my 360 and click on her pic to enlarge. I have another story about how they got her into Germany but don't have enough room. I'll add more at another time. Just check her out and tell me your thoughts.

This picture is not altered in any way that we know of. I'll see if my son or daughter-in-law will post the newspaper article including pic.I'm not certain that animals can in reality smile, but she looks pretty pleased with herself.
