NONE! The reason an ex is an ex is because it didn't work in the first place!

I have a Jerry Springer story for you (HA!) I had an affair with a married man for 12 years before we married. (Started when I was 16) We have since divorced. The clincher is that I married and divorced him 2 more times before I realized that it wouldn't work. 27 years total! If differences are causing problems now, they always will. Some things can change I agree but that almost never applies to people. Maybe a little compromise will come into play but for the most part, once a spade, always a spade.

If you know in your heart that it won't work then there's no point in taking her back again. Its hard to let go of someone you care about, but sometimes its for the best. Stop torturing yourself and her by getting back together and then breaking up. I usually don't give an ex another change, but on those rare occasions I would give an ex one more change. Anything other than that is a waste to me.

Hi
I took my ex back to many times to count and the sad part is I knew that it would not work the first time . I was afraid to be alone and dealt with his crap .
How much pain can the heart withstand when it comes to love or is it really love at all?
Take care
C

I broke up with my boyfriend like 2-3 times before I realized how much I loved him and wanted to be with him...This time I will not let him go and try everything possible to make it work...

For me, once it got to the break up point, it was over. I wouldn't want someone to make that decision lightly. And if they are coming back and saying they made a mistake, I would be extremely careful. I can say I never took anybody back. I didn't want to deal with someone who didn't know what they wanted.
Dump her and move on.
Good luck.

I'd say that is enough. The relationship isn't growing if you're steadily breaking up. Maybe yall should just go your seperate ways. Sometimes you can love someone but not be with that person. Believe me I know. So let her go.
