added info - this will never happen again! I have made myself SICK over the past few days - but hey, I lost a couple of pounds! I was unemployed and had to juggle bills - roof over the kid's heads, heat, etc won out.

Well being a cop there heres the scoop. If this is your first offense probably a minor fine. I've seen people whacked for $500 easily as a fine but as you have insurance now as well as paid DMV and registered the car they may let you go with a nolle.
just out of curiousity, whatever possessed you to do something as foolish and costly like that anyway? I've always been amazed at people who when signalled to stop they screw and the next thing you know theres a pursuit. The person finally stops and the only reason they ran was because their license was suspended.

So...go to court...bring your checkbook just in case. if there is a fine associated with it the courts will work out a schedule if you can't make the nut all in one payment. And for chrissakes...keep current on the license, reg and insurance huh? You make my job much easier.

You are so lucky they did not take your car.
Your liscense is STILL suspended and the added points of driving when you were not supposed to means you will not be driving for a long time more.
Why did you bother wasting money on insuring and registering a car you can't drive?
You should have just got a salvage title untill you are able to legaly drive again.

if anything they will make you pay a fine. I got caught driving my buddy's car with no insurance on a suspended license and before i went to court i got it all taken care of and when i showed the judge that i had taken care of everything he dropped the charges. I think I had to pay like $150 in court costs and thats it.

Maximum, of 1 year in jail or 1000 dollar fine for each...but thats a maximum, and its rare that they'd sentence you to jail for these things, thats just a MAX....however if you were pulled over in NY that would have been an automatic arrest....so be happy with whatever you get.
