Well, first of all if you are even thinking about going with him instead of getting married, you need to postpone the wedding. You aren't ready for the commitment marriage takes. You say this friend is your soulmate, lover and best friend....it sounds like he's the person you should be with. He may not be ready for marriage now but you never know what the future holds. Don't settle just to get married, because you will not be happy. You need to do some soul searching about this before making a decision. Good luck.

Sure thing or love? Love, which in these times is sometimes as long as the times are good. A sure thing can also end just as suddenly. Depends on what you value most. Love or Sure thing? I married the sure thing and ended in divorce. I chased after my friend/soulmate/wanted to be lover and got hurt. It's a once and a life time thing. Go with your lover/friend/soulmate it may be the only time you have together. I'm being honest but not truthful. For truth says to wait till marriage to have a meaningful physical relationship...........but the truth of my trecherous heart is that I will always regret not going with my true love. 25 years later I still think of him and it still hurts. Good luck and may God forgive me.

Well if you are having to ask..then i think you know the answer, if you are even considering going away with the other then you dont need to be getting married just may not be ready if you cant decide between the two, you will devestate the one that proposed, if you go away, and if the other does love you he will understand why you cant, you know what you gotta do just need to think in the long run what is best for you a week is nothing compared to a lifetime! huggs, bubbles

I would be with the one I consider my best friend & soul mate. If you don't consider the other man that has proposed to you to be your best friend & soul mate he isn't the one for you and it probably won't work out for the best. Even if this man( your best friend soul mate ) won't ever marry you it is better than marrying someone just because he proposed. I consider my husband to be my best friend and it has worked out great for me, I love him very much and he feels the same way about me.

life is too short to wait on someone to grow up and know what they want. If the other person is good and makes you feel great. then why should you make them feel like you do waiting on the friend.
