I am a Christian by my own choice, of my own free will

Our parents affect our religious beliefs to an extent, but at some point we make our own decisions about what we believe. My parents raised me in a Christian household(Southern Baptist), but I am not at all Southern Baptist. In fact I don't believe a lot of the things they believe in. I do consider myself to be a Christian, yes, but I am much more open to other religions than my parents raised me to be. So the answer to your question is both yes and no. Yes my parents taught me to be this certain type of Christian, but I made the decision to have my own beliefs that differ from my parents.

I became a Christian on my own choice. My parents have had no part in my religious beliefs.

I am not religious and prefer it that way. My parents have never supported any choice that I have made,so if they told me to do something I would have done the opposite.

The word "religious" is a no-no among true Bible-believing Christians.
Religion is a mechanical and ritualistic manifestation of worship without any relationship with the Godhead.
A true Christian is a worshiper in spirit and truth

I believe in God by my own personal choice. I used to be an atheist, but I came to the conclusion that God is real and I'm very happy that I know that there is a God.

I try not to be religious at all. It is my intention to focus on the Word of God not the rules of man.
Oh to answer your question- on my own accord. My parents are not church goers and probably never will be.

Both. I grew up in a religious household (traditional catholic), so my parents toght me to be religious. But I also freely accepted God´s law and teachings.

I'm a christian, and not very religious... all of my own choice.

I prefer to follow God's direction rather than man's religious regulations.

Yes. My parent knew nothing of the Flying Spaghetti Monster that I accepted in my stomach as my savior.
I cook and eat pasta to worship.
