thank you this explains it. I was given one as a pet a puppy he gets treated better than me, he is a good loving dog. I finally have something else other people desire it is weird.

It really depends on where you live and the particular pedigree of the parents of the puppy. I have a friend in Central Pa that breeds boxers and she sold hers for 600 a piece ( That was a year ago). I have also seen some as high as the 800-900 dollar range. Every breed is prone to some ailments ( ie. hip dyplasia eye problems) if a breeder certifies her dogs for being a healthy dog then those typically cost more money. By the way it is worth the extra expense :) Good luck. Boxers are great dogs!

Boxer pups in the midwest with papers and AKC registered, are going from $200.00-400.00.
