This is a 6-9 digit number on the back of your card located below the magnetic strip.
Most companies will ask for the last 3 digits for verification.
Be careful with given this out over the phone or the web .

On the back of the credit card there is a 3 digit number usually in the signature box. When you use your credit card over the telephone you will need to provide this number, in addition to the name on the card, the card number, the card type (Visa/MC, etc) expiration date and even the zip code where the credit card bill goes.

On the back of your credit card in the space where you would sign your name, you will find some numbers in that space. The verification number is typicall the last three numbers.

usually it is located on the back of the card. It is the last 3 digits on most visa cards. It is located right were you put your signatre,. American express usually has them on the front and the usually contain 4 digit. it is located underneath you credit card number

i believe you're talking about the security code. for most credit cards, it's the last 3 numbers listed on the back of the card. but i think for AMEX cards it's the last 4.

It's a three digit number usually at the end of the signature strip.
It's supposed to be used to verify that you have the physical card, especially when shopping online!

It's 999, or if you're in America...911. It's located in my front garden, under the plant pot to the right of the door, along with my spare keys. You won't tell anyone, will you?
