i am wiccan and we worship a goddess. Not every westerner thinks that god is a man. we believe in the god and goddess. As there is male and female on earth There Is the great Sun and Earth God And the Great moon and earth Mother. Thats the basis Of wicca. I personally follow the egyptian partheneon so i believe that there is not on god and goddess. but many gods and goddess.

Why do most people worship a male it is due to the fact the men are seen as supior to women. Before the advent of judeo christian type religions Goddesses were revered. Judism came about changing religion to a one god no goddess.

If there is a God it has to be a Male figure. If it was a female then don't you think it would've made thing easier for them, instead they have to go through PMS, being pregnat, giving birth and on top of it all deal with men. hahaha.

We are created in the image of God:
Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Jesus is the Creator:
"...and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him..."
Colossians 1:13-16

Jesus took on our sinful flesh:
Romans 8:3 - ...God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh...

Jesus was male, not female

I don't think he is a man. He created man in his own image. How can he that created be man that he created. he can't. I think "he" is a generic term to describe God. We don't know really what God is. We can ask him when we get to heaven.
