The Buddha was a holy man, who said he was a teacher helping mankind end its suffering, teaching other people to be patient and tolerant toward one another, and helping others through the Eightfold Path, to acquire a Stable Peace of Mind, and Happiness. He, himself wrote down all that he said - in his 45 year ministry. It is in the Dhammapa, and the Sutras.

Jesus, who came next on the scene, was a holy man, who taught love, peace, and not to judge or condemn others. He showed His love for humanity by dying for humanity on a cross.
Although, according to the Jews - He was put to death, because He said He was God - "Before Abraham existed, I AM." And when he was asked if He was the Son of God, He said yes. The Jews and Roman Soldiers, according to Judaism - crucified Him to death, because he these claims.

Muhammed, was a descendant of Ishmael {one of Abraham's son, but not through Sarah), and was promised to that he would have a great nation. Muhammed was a wanderer, but according to a visitation from the angel Gabriel, received teachings given forth in todays Qur'an.
Islam believes Muhammed to be the last, and final prophet, and that Islam will someday be the only religion on earth.

The Buddha was an enlightened teacher, who taught humanity how to end its suffering, and acquire peace and happiness.

Jesus was a prophet, teacher, and according to christianity, and catholicism was the savior of the world. He performed many miracles, even raising people from the dead.

Muhammed received a visitation from an angel, did not perform miracles, did not write the Qur'an, but conveyed its meaning to others who wrote it. He was a leader, who lead Muslims into many wars and battles in the name of Allah.

Siddhartha Gautama {The Buddha) taught peace through practicing the Eightfold Path.

Jesus taught peace through a relationship with God the Father, and yielding to His (Jesus') Lordship.

Muhammed taught peace through obeying the Qur'an, and yielding only to the Qur'an.

*The only vague similarity they had was they taught peace, but definately in different ways.

They all had different missions or ministries, purposes for their lives to try to help mankind, in their own ways.

Christianity believes that their way is the only way. Islam believes that their way is the only way. Buddhism believes that one must find one's own way to acquire a stable peace of mind and happiness, while respecting the free
will of others.

Judaism believes that the jews are the chosen people of YHWH, but also does respect the free will of others.

Buddhism and Judaism does not set out to convert the world to its religions, but Islam and Christianity does.

I am not saying that one religion is the Best religion, or that any certain religion is the only Way, simply stating the facts.

Jainists, like Buddhists, do not worship God, but revere instead the saints who are believed to have achieved complete liberation from the bondage of earthly life. There are 63 significant figures of Jain legend and story. The most important of these are the 24 Tirthankaras, perfected human beings who appeared as teachers at various times in history and represent the highest religious attainment for the Jains. evolved), and 24 kamadevas (gods of love), all of which show Hindu influences.

I know Buddha is different from the rest
As Buddha never cares if theres a god or not.
Buddha also never claims he received meesages from god.Buddha found all the answers by himself.
FYI theres more than one Buddha
I think the only similarities among all of their teachings is Heaven and Hell. But Buddha includes reincarnation as well.Meaning if we dont qualifies to go to heaven we still have some chances to be reborn and tries again.Same as if in Hell, Buddha said if we do good in hell we still have chances.
Different with Mohd.He taught his followers to have 3 wives and do you knows that one of Mohd wife is as young as 9 years old?

as for powers,Buddha only have the power to see the future and past.Jesus made wine out of plain water and walked on water. Both Mohd and Jesus made a dead man alive again. Both of them claims to be prohet and both of them claims their version is the real words from god.But not buddha.there is no god in Buddha.

i guess they all have one thing in common.. they all died. i know that this doesn't really answer your question..

but Jesus is the only who was able to resurrect Himself, because he is God. His, is the only tomb that's empty today.

i'm pretty sure all the other guys had good things to say, and wrote impressive books. but i'll stick to the One who's able to conquer death, and is willing to do the same for us.
