If the glory of an omnipotent and omnipresent God is shown in his own creation, which could be experienced and observed by man, and his laws are written on man's heart, then why would God choose to communicate with man in human words, which are dependent on mankind's understanding and interpretation through imagery and symbolism?

Language and words are dualistic human lables that are incapable of transcending human understanding based on imagery, symbolism, and metaphores. But the universe functions and exists as it does regardless of any individuals belief systems. Why does the universe, God's own creation, contradict so much of the words and messages in religious doctrine?

Lets start with the first part of your question, God communicates with man with human language, because man cannot understand the depth and knowledge of that which God understands. It is said that the only two persons ever to understand everything that is of God were Adam and Eve since they ate from the tree of Knowledge, now this of course is allegorically speaking since this is a story to try to describe the beginning of mans reluctance to accept God and his Laws, that are inscirbed as you so well put it on each one of our hearts. So we are not made to understand the mysteries of God but yes the ways to reach grace with God.
The second part of your question is not true, because language can transcend understanding, for that reason when someone says I love you, this word transcends our understanding of what true love is, so love is more than simply a word when it comes from the soul. The universe does exist regardless of ones belief, but if everyone did as they wished, and did what they wanted with no control, no laws to govern ones heart, it would be as the beginning of time, chaos.
God's creation does not contradict doctrine, since doctrine is based on God, religious doctrine does not stipulate anything that would be contraproductive to God and His nature. It has in the past, but these doctrinal errancies have been erradicated since the turn of the century when they were revised and some removed.
God bless always and continue to seek the truth.

Very simple answer: The language and words written about god are just thoughts and ideas made up by men and women. There is no god in physical reality. All this is just imagination combined with wishful thinking. There is nothing negative or denigrating in this explanation. It is simply the plain truth about the concept of god.

Humans are a bundle of contrasts and contradictions. So are the gods they invent and the religious books they write, Especially when you collect dozens of writers and redactors over many centuries and try to reconcile them as a coherent whole, supposedly coming from the identical source.

Humans need to study and seek revelation in order to understand God

Psalm 119:11
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

seems such as you have already spoke back the unique question your self. of direction the bible will for sure state that those without faith in God are "fools", "simpletons", etc, etc. faith isn't know-how nevertheless. it fairly is somewhat the choice. The bible rather does a good interest of utilising improper language to debris with people's minds.
