Ew, you let your cats jump up on kitchen counters?
That's pretty gross, I'm not eating at your place even if you do get the new high-tech kitchen!

Maybe the touch-control is a good idea, let the cat jump up, turn it on, burn her little paws, and then at least your problem with the cats in the kitchen is solved...yuck....sorry.

Yes of course. pressure is not required, just a touch. Our cat did this once but only once! The house won't burn down, your new hob will turn it's self off !

Sure, if the cat walks over the hob and touches the right button, it will turn on, they don't require much pressure - that's why they are called touch sensitive

I'm sure your cat could cos our cat can eject the video and push it back in. If you have not got a door to close your kitty out of the kitchen you will have to do a bit of weighing up or maybe cover the buttons with something raised when you are not home.

cats really shouldnt be in kitchens and kitchen surfaces in the first place. keep them out!! if you cant do that then make sure you turn it off at the wall because the cats could technically be able to turn it on

I presume that they would, cause the pads on the bottom of there feet r soft and sensitive just like fingers so i would say that they would be able to
