Okay, I have straight hair....but I get really bad frizz at the roots. I have tried a lot of products but it either leaves my hair greasy or just doesn't work. Does anyone have any good products to help my "root frizz" problem?

It's not really "frizz" more like flyaways at the root of my hair. Any suggestions for that? I have straight hair that is some what thick but at the root of my hair there are so many flyaways.

Here's a suggestion, ditch the anti-frizz products most of the don't work very well.

Try swiping a dryer sheet over your roots, it will eliminate the static and (hopefully) the frizz.

Also try rubbing a very small amount of condiditioner on your hands and smooth it over the roots.

Both of those will only work when your hair is dry.

I recently started using herbal essences "get it straight" leave ion conditioner, and some frizz ease serum on my bad frizz trouble spots. It has done wonders for me when I straighten my hair.

I like the new Herbal Essences line that has come out that controls frizz. Theres shampoo, conditioner and other products that seem to work pretty well for me. The price is not too bad either!

Frizz-ease makes a variety of products that seem to work well. If you don't use to much then your hair shouldn't feel "greasy". I have the same problem. Hope this helps

your hair is frizzy at the roots? and the rest is fine? that's pretty unusual actually. normally frizz happens more near the ends. may be your scalp is really dry. in that case a good oil massage (any good quality hair oil or olive oil will do) once a week should help.
