I give you credit for still being able to be friends with your ex. If you are truly friends I dont see why it would be an issue. Just keep in mind that your friend that you would be sending to him may become close to him so make sure that your feelings are intact first. If you feel you may have some jealous feelings down the line because of that tiny possiblily I would stay away from it.
However, if everything is cool with you and your ex, ask him if he has anything to do and if he would mind showing a friend around. He can always say no if he is uncomfortable and phrase the question like "Hey, it may be a bit weird of me to ask, but Ive got a friend flying into your town soon and would feel more comfortable if there was someone to show her around. Can you help? I understand if you dont want to?." Put it all in his hands either way your friend who is going to his town will have fun. Good luck.

Just ask and see what he says. The worst he could say is "No". Since the two of you are still friends there is no harm in asking for a favor. If he has time and says he will do it, great. It could be fun for the both of them.

Absolutely. Do you think they'd get along? It could be a good thing for both of them, and if he thinks it's weird he can always say no. Or if you really can't find the guts to ask him, just ask him for some advice about how to get around, things to do, places to see, etc. and give the info. to your friend. Better than nothing, right?

Ask yourself why your trippin about such a small favor;is it because he gave you a reason to doubt that he won't fool around with your friends? Do you still have feelings for him?... If its over and you are just FRIENDS then why not?

Since you are still friends, I don't see the issue. You can ask him and if he can't, he can't. If he can, great for your friend! No big deal here I don't think.

Uh ...do you care if they hook up? If not ask him. but evidently you have concerns that's why you are asking.
Never say what someone won't do.
Sh*t happens...
If it was me I would tell her to visit the hotel concierge they have great packages and stuff that's what they do.

It's fine, that's called "networking". You are asking him to show her around...not date her.
