Why are there so many rules in there about taking a bath, cutting your fingernails, shave your pubic hair, only have sex one specific way, don't eat a pig, wipe your butt this way after using the bathroom. Doesn't this seem bizarre compared to the Bible and Torah, which Muslims claim the Koran was made after? Why are there so many rules about control instead of having a spiritual relationship with their god, Allah? Perhaps I'm being naiive, but do Muslims really think Allah is worrying about their pubic hair????

1. Al-Qur'an DOESN'T specify levels of personal higiene. Things that you asked about are found in SUNNAH.
2. Islam doesn't say a Muslim should have sex only one specific way. There is no recommended position in Islam, unlike judaism. Though Islam prohibits homosexual relations, fornication and anal sex.
3. Not eating pig is also mentioned in Bible and Torah. Some Christian denominations don't eat pork. There is no line in Bible which allows Christians to eat pork, however, most of Christians nowadays eat pork, although Jesus had never eaten it. Pig is prohibited as it's a filthy animal and carries diseases.
4. Regarding washing after toilet also your personal doctor will advise you so.
5. Al-Qur'an WASN'T made after Bible and Torah, rather it's a new divine revelation.
6. There are loads of rules about spiritual relationship with Allah, just I guess you haven't come across much, huh?
7. Pubic hair is a matter of higiene. Taking care of personal higiene is a noble thing, and it will neither benefit Allah, neither will it harm Him, it's for our own good.

The Quran is not just only a book to read like the Bible and the Torah. it is a way of life, it is the Last final revelation and from god with no Altercations, as do in the Bible and Torah . Not only
it tells you things what to in order to keep you self clean. The Quran was sent to correct what was changed by the people in the Bible and the Torah. The people did not want to be clean so that is why you do not see such things in the Bible and Torah. The Quran shows that Muslims are very clean people. and in Islam you have to be clean to pray to god. God tells in his book what to do to be clean. it is up to you if you want to be clean or not, that your choice. You do want to be clean when you are praying to your lord? ,instead you are distracted by you pubic hairs, because in you book you were not told to shave and keep you self clean in front of you lord. Instead you are itching your balls because you want to Question God's book. Next time Read and Understand God's word before you start Questioning his book.

There are a lot of rules like that in the Torah too, but at least the Jews had enough intelligence to know how to bathe. The people Muhammed was preaching to must have been brainless. What's bad is that people read the Koran, and they actually become dumber. They take all of that stuff in the Koran literally, and they believe anyone who doesn't do that stuff is either insane or on his way to hell. The Koran causes so many problems for Muslims that not one Muslim can tell you what you are supposed to do to be a Muslim. Every Muslim society has it's own set of rules about what it means to be a Muslim. There are different denominations of Christians, but at least they all agree that Jesus is the Son of God.

Read Leviticus...there are rules for the Jewish folks like that, even down to how to wash their hands.
It is not that God or Allah is worrying about pubic hair, it is that these things were required as a show of devotion.
BTW, the rules also coincided with good health. There's a reason for everything that God tells us to do.

First of all i don't think i can answer this quistion , but I'll do my best.
In islam there're rules that you must not break , things that will harm you , you're family , the comunity or you're religon pictuer soon or later. ex(stealing , killing ppl ,cheating , drinking alcohol , skipping a pryer with out a good enough reason ) .
And there're rules that you get to chose between doing it or not, things that don't harm any one or any things if you do it or not, but it is better to do it to be a better muslim and gain more (hasanat) cridits and to show how much muslim you are. ex(the way you take a bath,the way you eat,the way you enter a house,.....).
about sex you can do almost every things , BUT it must be done with you're wife for male , and husband for female. and never insert in the butt hole . do every things Except Insertion in Period times. So every things you do is a related to islam and islam is a religon from Allah .

There is a prescribed way of doing everything my friend.
Islam is a complete way of life. it may appear Bizarre to you as you have only recently introduced yourself to these things. they are not actually bizarre to the many Muslims who live this way. there are particular ways of doing things, that is not for the benefit of God but for humans themselves. The way to a spiritual life starts with personal hygiene, and that is the essence behind these teachings of the Quran, and all the other divine books revealed before.

I am not Muslim, but my muslim friend and I had a chat about it. From what she said, I gathered that the rule of taking a bath is to emphasise the importance of purity of the body as well as the heart... in the face of God.

Because when the Quran was writen, people were very unsanitary and didnt have clorox wipes. This was put here so people would not get too sick and germy. I think these rules are somewhat outdated now.

Wash your nose from inside in the morning b/c satan urinate and defecates in side while spending the night there. Bukhari vol 4, book 54, and something about your ears. It looks that you have no idea about your religion more than what your imams tell you.
