How do I begin reseraching how to move to the UK or Europe. I have dual US and UK citizenship (so I have a legal right to work) but my background is as an admin assistant -- which I think is usually hired locally, right? Therefore, can I get hired without being in the country first? So confusing. I have no idea where to even begin -- but I really want this. Any advice, please?

Check with the UK embassy in the U.S. about any hiring rules. Then I'd start posting your resume on UK job boards, making sure you explain your immigration status and your intent to move there. I have done phone interviews with candidates who were interested in jobs who were long distance, however we usually ask for a second face-to-face interview befor extendign an offer.

I'm not sure what the rules would be for non-citizens in other European countries. It may vary from country to country. The best way would be to contact their embassies located in the U.S. Many European countries are facing high unemployment of their own citizens, so finding employment there as a non-citizen may be difficult.

But in UK house prices are high and especially in London, cost of living is quite high too, if you are a UK citizen you will probably be able to move to Europe easily, because of EU but im not sure..

You could start by pulling up the employment sections of their newspapers, and then posting a resume. If you are serious about relocating, also find out about the costs of living, rentals, transportation and wages as compared to the U.S. You could also contact companies that have overseas offices, and apply directly with them. To be practical, suggest you take a vacation trip first and have a reality check on what and where. Best wishes

If there is a specific position that you are seeking, then search different large corporations online. There are many large companies that are willing to hire from abroad but you must submit an application and show interest first.
