The best way to get an accurate BMI is by a trainer or professional. BMI Calculators are not the best way to tell this online. You need to have your body fat percentage measured........some people can weigh less but have more body fat percentage than someone who weighs more. So don't rely on BMI calculators on line. Schedule a meeting awith a gym trainer (most of the time the first visit with a trainer is free!!).

BMI is notoriously inaccurate. What throws the calculation off is that muscle weighs more than fat and the standard equation has no way of factoring that in. However, if you are willing to go to a specialist (such as a doctor) they have many more factors to add to the equation, such as the width of the excess skin that can be "pinched" at different parts of the body. So, the odds of your getting a really accurate BMI with the standard simple equation you can use at home is not good.

The best thing is to have your body fat percentage checked at a gym. BMI is not always 100% accurate, especially if are very athletic like you say. You sound very slim as far as your measurements are concerned.

BMI, like maximum statistical kit is extremely great and not particular. it could tell people have issues on the intense ends. Like in case you have been down around 70-80lbs or up interior the intense 200s and up. So, bypass baed on what your well being practitioner says.

there are lots of sites that will calculate your BMI and not all of them are the same number. here are 2 of the better ones. the only way to get a totally accurate BMI is to go where they submerge you underwater.
