I like the cut-it-short style of the spoken American English . U don't have 2 say:
"I don't know" when u can just say "donno"
"what's up?" -----} "wassup?"
"I want ..." ----} "I wanna"
.......... etc.

And also for writing:
I feel comfortable wrting "meter, liter, center...etc" but not at all: "metre, litre, centre"

I like "Colour" better than "Color".
I like "Rumour" more than "Rumor".
I like "Fries" more than "Chips". (because it sounds too crispy)
I like calling people "guys" or "dude" more than "mate" or "fella".
