Keep in mmind that someone doesn't just wake up one day and "decide" to be a missionary full time. Being a missionary is the same as being a preacher. It is something that God "calls" you into as a lifetime commitment. I would recommend that you pray A LOT about this and make sure that being a missionary is something God has called you to. Keep in mind we as Christians should ALL be missionaries to a degree, but it sounds to me you want to know about doing this for a living and full time. I can also recommend several websites. I'm a Southern Baptist preacher and we have the largest missionary force in the world. Our missionaries are lifetime missionaries. Check out these sites:http://www.imb.org/core/default.asp
http://www.namb.net/ I hope that you find what you are looking for. No matter what it is I challenge you to answer God's call for your life.

That can depend on what religion you want to be a missionary for, or what kind of mission you want to serve. Anybody can share the gospel with a friend and still have a job, you could also still have a job and dedicate a certain amount of your spare time to missionary service.

If you want to be a full-time missionary, meaning you do it all day, every day, then I think it's best you do that for a time period before you get married and have family responsibilities. Either that, or wait until you're retired and be a missionary with your wife.

You do what God tells you to do, and He'll take care of you and your family. One way to become a missionary is through the mission board of your denomination.

Anyone who has a mission in life is a missionary.
But we must know the real mission of GOD for us.

GOD's mission is to save people.

1Timothy 2:3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Timothy 2:4 who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.

So, we must cooperate with GOD to fulfill His mission.

1Corinthians 3:9 For we are God's fellow-workers: ye are God's husbandry, God's building.

If God calls you to be a missionary, He will supply you with what ever you need.

Have you read about George Muller?

Be open to what God tells you.

You should be asking God this queston...He will provide for your needs...He will give you ideas and wisdom. Call upon Him and spend some time with Him. He will guide your path.
