Not if the person thinks money defines him, or that money is the most important aspect of his life. Then he is sure to compromise morals to hold on to the money. If money comes first, then everything else is second.

Absolutely. You have to love God more than the money. In other works you have to be willing to give it all away, it must mean nothing to you but only a tool.

It's difficult, but certainly possible. An abundance of money does not ensure happiness, and it does have a tendency to corrupt, but this can be offset by other aspects of one's life.
