This guy I've been dating for over 6 months has been acting really strange and says he's confused about where he wants this to go. I see him about once a week, but i just got my own place and feel really lonely...so i end up thinking about it even more than I normally would...should i just end it, rather than put myself through the mental anguish?

Sometimes guys take longer than females to decide if they want to commit to a relationship. They want to be very sure of their decision. Perhaps once a week for 6 months is not enough time to make that kind of decision. He sounds like an honest guy. Don't bail just yet. Give it some more time...I know it's so difficult when you care more than he seems to, at this point. Don't put any more pressure on him by discussing the topic again. Just have fun with him and enjoy each others company.
Good luck

I had a similar problem with a guy I lived with! The last 6 months of our relationship he just seemed to always have to work late, or jusrt have somthing to do when I was off, and seemed really "distant". Then the last months we hardly spoke, saw eachother once or twice a week, awake anyways, and it turns out he had someone in mind ha was wanting to date and just trying to get me to end it for him. my advice, talk to him, tell him thngs are bothering you, if there is no hcange in how he acts, end it for your own sake. No man is worth waiting around on.

If you end the relationship he will figure out really quickly what he wants to do. He will either beg, or leave. If he leaves, you are probably better off than being put through all the heartache that is yet to come if he is truly confused.

This guy you've been seeing has stepped forward and told you he's confused. Talk to him about it. Don't put too much thought into what he's thinking either. Give him some space to realize what he wants. Take this time for YOU and do the same. If it's meant to be, it shall be. Good luck!

Sounds like he's getting cold feet. Don't abandon him, but at the same time don't sit home knitting. Tell him that you won't wait forever.
