If you go to the afro hair shops, Fantasia do a really good hair serum and it's not that expensive. Alternatively if you want to stick to Boots try the Botanic's range Hair serum, that's good stuff. Stay away from John Frieda's brand serum, absolute rubbish!!

Phyto serum - it's about £16 in UK but is light enough to use every day without having to wash your hair inbetween. Will control frizz and smells lovely. Doesn't even leave your hands sticky.
Hard to get hold of - try 'phyto' search on net or SpaceNK stores in London.
Expensive but lasts for ages.

BIOSILK!!!!! I use all of their products. I have for about 5 years. I love the shine therapy spray the best. I use it right before I straighten it. It makes my hair shiny, soft & very manageable.
