Ouch, i can imagine how that felt. The first step to the situation is to deal with it. They are only nine so you don't have to be so descriptive but allow them to get the picture. You should explain to them that you two are adults and loving on each other is what adults do. Explain to them that children shouldn't show each other love in that manor. If you can try not to use the world sex as much cause saying SEX may make them giggle or even frown up in the face in dismay. But just tell them that adult are intimate when they love each other and that it should not be a topic for themt o discuss. Afterwards take them out for icecream or something to gradually get over the topic. GOOD LUCK

Kids know and learn a lot more than we teach them. They know these things long before we know that they know!
Other than making sure you're discreet, I'd ignore it. It's probably not even that they actually heard you. It's more that they've figured it out, and are acknowledging it amongst each other.
If you discuss it with them, it could make them and you uncomfortable, and afterward the prospect of it will be at the forefront. I believe it's better not to confront the issue. That way - they'll forget about it and go about their play, which is hopefully what 9 year olds are still doing!

Find out exactly what they meant by "doing it" and then explain to them the approiate terms and what it means andd people in love may "do it" (of course use the right term. Also tell them the next time they feel the need to talk about "doing it" that they need to come and talk to one of you about and not discuss it with anyone esle.

Don't "do it" with your BOYFRIEND when your respective daughters are around! They are not going to forget, in fact, these two nine year olds are going to think that this is acceptable in all boyfriend/girlfriend couples.....that's going to be a tricky one to explain to them in a few (or less) years!

lol. Just let it go. If they have any questions.. I am sure they will ask. That is life. Someday you will know that they are 'doing it' and they probably won't 'handle it' at all. That islife. I knew that my parents did it. So you and your boyfriend are 'together'. You kid knows... no big deal That is life.

Did they go into great detail? What were you doing.....were you "doing it" in front of them or something? That's setting a great example for the girls! Be more responsible next time or they'll both have issues when they grow up.
