Is there a way to type something with your keyboard and then have something else come out when you hit enter? What i mean is, if i type '158' into my keyboard, is there a way to make it say soemthing completely different? I know that you can do things like that on msn, by saying /slap and it will say 'you splapped him' but is there a way to do it outside of msn? Thanks

No, i dont want to do it in one single program (Microsoft word). I want to be able to do it in web pages. for example, if i were to type 'asdf' i want it to type a sentence completely different. I am aware of auto-correct, but as i said before, i want it to apply not only to microsoft word, but to all things, especially web pages

You can use the Auto Correct feature of the Word program. Go to "Tools" on the toolbar, then to "Auto Correct Options". You can type in any combination of letters and tell it to replace that every time you type it with whatever you want.

those are functions that are programmed into msn - you can do it in word by using the auto correct feature, example i did a paper last year that involved several LONG egyptian pharoah names, and i set it so if i typed AM1 it corrected to the amenhotep I and AM2 and so forth...so i could type faster and not worry about typos

Hi

Well you can try the keyboard configuration on control panel and re-direct the key strokes or you can have a script with the exchange conbination of key strokes

I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but you could configure your keyboard in windows to dvorak, or some other format other than QWERTY, and all the letters would be messed up.
